The general aim of this course is to build capacity through the enhancement of knowledge and skills for energy planning in electric utilities, electricity regulatory agencies, government ministries and agencies responsible for sustainable energy planning and emissions mitigation, and academia. This support will focus on professional training in the use and application of software and tools for energy system modelling. Specifically, this course aims to train technical experts from electric utilities, regulatory agencies, government ministries and agencies, universities, and other regional institutions in the methodologies and skills required to use LEAP.
